AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW ESTABLISHING
A SIGN MORATORIUM, A~NDING ORDINANCE 77-27 AND
RESCINDING ORDINANCE 78-2
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Winslow presently
has under consideration a new sign ordinance and
WHEREAS, a public meeting has been scheduled prior
to the adoption of the draft ordinance.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Winslow do
ordain that:
Section 5 of Ordinance 77-27 be amended to read
as fol lows:
The moratorium on new signs exceeding 2' x 4'
and on major alterations on existing signs is
hereby extended until the new sign ordinance now
under consideration is adopted or not later than
January 1, 1979.
