ORD 78-17 ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ORDINANCE 78 - 17
kN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF WINSLOW
WHEREAS, a petition has been accepted in the form required
by law to annex certain real property described in this
ordinance to the City of Winslow and the Boundary Review
Board will not invoke jurisdiction of said annexation, and
the City Council having held a hearing on the petition now,
therefore.
THE CITY COL~CIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following described real property located in Kitsap
County and contiguous to the City of Winslow shall be and
hereby is annexed to the City of Winslow:
That portion of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 26, Township 25 North, Range 2 East
W. M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Southeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter, which point is located
North lo29'30" East 1335.91 feet from the quarter corner
common to Sections 25 and 26 of said Township and Range;
thence North 88°40'07" West, along the North line of said
Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter, 30.0-9 feet t6
the true point of beginning; thence continuing North
88°40'07" West 300.01 feet; thence South 1°29'30" East
595.85 feet to the true point of beginning. Including that
portion of Cherry Avenue N. E. directly adjacent to
subject property.
2. The property described in paragraph 1 of this ordinance
shall be zoned and classified as RS-15,000 pursuant to the
provisions of Ordinance 69-16.
3. Pursuant to the Petition filed by the Owners of said
,property, the area described in paragraph 1 will be required
to assume any outstanding indebtedness~of the City.
4. That the City Council has determined that the action by
the City of annexing the property described in paragraph 1 above
is not a substantial action significantly affecting the
e~vironment and therefore an environmental impact statement is
not required.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Winslow this 7th Day
of August, 1978.

beginning. Including that portion of Cherry Avenue N.E. directly
adjacent to subject property.
2. The property described in paragraph 1 of this ordinance shall be
zoned and classified as RS-15,000 pursuant to the provisions of
Ordinance 69.16.
