ORD 78-22 AMENDING THE 1978 BUDGETORDINANCE NO. 78-22
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AMENDING THE
1978 BUDGET ORDINANCE #77-28, ESTABLISHING THE
POSITION OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANT TO THE ENGINEER
AND APPROPRIATING THE SALARY THEREFORE
~HEREAS, the activities of the Engineering Department have increased
substantially during the past year and
WHEREAS, the Council considered it necessary to the function of the
Engineering Department to provide technical assistance and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Winslow, at its regular meeting
July 17, 1978, did approve establishing the position and appropriation
of the salary,
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as
follows:
That the position of Technical Assistant to the Engineer
be established for the balance of the 1978 Budget year and
That the salary for the position be established at $15,000.00
annually and
That unanticipated revenues be appropriated to the C/E Fund
in the amount of $10,000.00 and
That expenditures not to exceed $10,000.00 and are hereby
authorized and approved to be expended from the C/E Fund for
salary of the Technical Assistant
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Council of the City of Winslow and
approved by its Mayor this 5th day of September, 1978.
