ORD 78-25 FEES AND PERMITS FOR ZONING AND LAND USESORDINANCE NO. 78 - 25
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AMENDING ORDINANCE
69-16, FEES SECTION, AND ESTABLISHING BASIC FEES FOR
PERMITS AND APPLICATIONS RELATIVE ZONING AND LAND USES.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Winslow has determined that
costs of providing services relative to zoning and land use matters
have increased considerably during the current budget year,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Winslow do ordain
as follows:
That the section entitled "Fees" in Ordinance 69-16 be
amended to read as follows:
FEE SCHEDULE
1. Permit, Use or Application Basis Fee
Conditional Use Permit ............ $200 + $10/acre
Planned Unit Development ........... $200 + $10/acre
Amendment to Zone Map (Rezone) ..... $200 + $10/acre
Extraordinary Use Permit ........... $200 + $10/acre
Variances:
(a) Variation of one foot or less or
variance of less than 10%
deviation from the code ....... $75.00
(b) Variation of 10% or more
deviation from requirement ..... $100.00
2. Appeals of Administrative Decisions, Zoning or Land Use Matters
The cost of appeals on land use matters, zoning or administrative
decisions imposes an expense on the City involving the Hearing
Examiner and City Employees, plus the cost of administration,
equipment and space. While Appeals are every citizen's right,
the imposition of a flat fee of $50 for filing such appeals is
necessary to offset the initial cost of administering the appeal
regardless of the outcome.
