AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 78-12 WHICH ESTABLISHED A
MORITORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE OF CERTAIN RESIDENTIAL BUILDING
PERMITS, ADDING TWO ADDITIONAL SECTIONS THERETO AND
AMENDING THE DATE OF EXPIRATION THEREOF
The City Cuuncil of the City of Winslow DO ORDAIN as
follows:
Sect]on 1 of Ordinance 78-12 is hereby deemed amended
read as follows:

MORATORIUM and DATE OF EXPIRATION. There is hereby
imposed a moratorium on the issuance of any
residential building permits and the approval of any
short plats, subdivisions and residential planned unit
developments until June 30, 1979, or the enactment of
final amendments to the Winslow Zoning Code, whichever
occurs sooner.
Section 2 of Ordinance 78-12 is deemed amended to read as
follows:
2. EXCEPTIONS. The moratorium imposed by this ordinance
will not apply to the following categories of
residential building permits, plats, subdivisions and
residential planned unit developments:
A. Single family residences to be constructed on
platted or unp].atted lots which comply with
either the requirements of Ordinance 69-16
(Wjnslow Zoning Code) or the proposed zoning
ordinance, provided all such buildings comply
with set-back requirements of the new zoning code
(proposed) ordinance.

B. Short plats which have received final approval
from the city engineer prior to June 5, ]978,
date of this ordinance.
C. Residential planned unit developments for which
approval has been granted by the Planning Agency
prior to June 5, 1978.
D. Subdivisions for which final approval of the
preliminary plat has been granted by the Planning
Agency prior to June 5, ]978.
All other provisions of Ordinance 78-]2 shall remain
full force and effect.
This ordinance shall become effective five (5) days after
its posting or publication in the manner prov]de~ by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Winslow,
Washington, this 18th day of December, 1978.
