AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AMENDING ORDINANCE
78-29 DELAYING COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENTS TO SEWER
PARTICIPATION AND INSPECTION FEES FOR CONNECTIONS ON ULID'S
3 AND 4.
The City Council cf the C~ty of Winslow DO ORDAIN as
follows:
Section 1.
The last paragraph of Section one of Ordinance 78-29, which
reads as follows:
"All charges described in this subparagraph 4 shall be
subject to automatic anDual adjustment on January 1 of each
year based on the consumer price index for November of the
preceeding year as reported in "Economic Indicators"
prepared by the Council of ECODOmjC Advisors. The consumer
price index for November ]977 is 102.5 and shall form the
basis for the water and sewer charges set forth jn this
subparagraph 4 for the year 1978."
shall not apply to the properties listed on the final
assessment rolls for ULID 3 and ULID 4 provided application for
sewer service connections for these properties are filed and
all fees paid by June !, 1979.
Section 2.
Any cost of living increase paid in connection with ULID'S
3 and 4 after January l, 1979 and prior to the effective date
of this ordinance shall be refunded by the City Clerk/Treasurer.
Section 3.
All other prOviSioDS Of Ordinance Numbers 74-16, 76-4, and
78-5 shall remain ]n fuji force and effect.
Section 4.
This ordinance shall become effective five (5) days after
its posting or publication ]n the manner provided by law.
