AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 69-16, ZONING CODE FOR THE CITY OF WINSLOW, BY
ADDING A DEFINITION OF COMMERCIAL PARKING LOT
The City Council of the City of Winslow DO ORDAIN as
follows:
1. There is added to the SeCtloP entit].ed "Definitions" in
Ordinance 69-16, a new subsection which reads as follows:
COMMERCIAL PARKING LOT: Any outdoor space, or uncovered
plot, place, lot, parcel, yard or enclosure, or any portion
thereof, intended to regularly accomodate three (3) or more
parked cars not registered to the owner or occupant of the
area on which they are parked. This definition shall not
include any business or multi-family residential building
where parking faci!]ties are provided for use by customers
or residents in connection with the lawful residential or
business use thereof.
2. All other provisions of Ordinance 69-].6 shall remain
the same and if for any reason the above definition is declared
invalid or unconstitutional all other provisions of Ordinance
69-16 shall remain in full force and effect.
3. This ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after
its adoption and publication or posting in the matter provided
by law.
