ORD 79-11 LICENSING OF CERTAIN BUSINESSESCITY OF WINSLOW
ORDINANCE 79 - 11
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, KITSAP COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, AMDENDING ORDINANCES 75-1, 75-8 AND 79-2,
WHICH PROVIDE FOR THE LICENSING OF CERTAIN TYPES OF
BUSINESSES AND OCCUPATIONS AND IMPOSE A BUSINESS TAX
THEREON.
The City Council of the City of Winslow DO ORDAIN as
follows:
Section 16 of Winslow Ordinance 75-]. as amende~ by
Ordinance 79-2 is deemed amended to read as follows:
SECTION 16: DUTIES OF THE CITY CLERK/TREASURER. The City
C]erk/Treasurer shall keep full and accurate records of all
funds received udder the provisions of this Ordinance. Upon
receipt cf any license fee, tax or peDal]ties collected under
the provisions of this Ordinance the City Clerk/Treasurer shall
deposit the same as follows:
a. The follcw]ng sums shall be deposited in the Current
Expense Fund of the City of Winslow:
1. All license fees and penalit~es collected under
the provisions of this Ordinance.
2. Taxes paid by Class ] Taxpayers on .04% of their
gross ~ncome pursuant to Section 3 of this
Ordinance.
3. Taxes paid by class 3 Taxpayers pursuant to
Section 3 of this Ordinance.
b. The following sums shall be deposited in the City of
Wjnslow's Street Fund.
]. Taxes paid by Class 1 Taxpayers on three and
ninety-six hundredths percent (3.96%) of their
gross income pursuant to Section 3 of this
Ordinance.
2. Taxes paid by Class 2 Tsxpayers pursuant to
Section 3 of this Ordinance.

c. The texes paid bv Class ] Taxpayers on tbree and
ninety-Fix hundretbs percent (3.96%~ of their gross
income pursuant to Section 3 of this Ordinance may be
paid in instal3ments if the taxpayer so choses. The
City Clerk/Treasurer shall develop forms and
procedures for the co]!ectjon of installment payments.
Section 20 of Ordinance 75-2 as amended by Ordinances 75-8
and 79-2 is amended to read as fo]!ows:
SECTION 20: EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance sha]l become
in full effect on April 23, 1979 , ]979.
