RES 2002-36 SHEPARD WAY (WEAVER & GROW) LIMITED VEHICULAR ACCESSRESOLUTION NO. 2002-36
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Isl ,Washington,
relating to limiting vehicular access on a tempoiary basis on a
portion of Shepard Way between Weaver Rad and Grow
Avenue.
WThe city recently improved a portion of th Shepard Way rights -Of -way
between Cosgrove Street and the driveway to 485 Shepard Way t was generally unusable by
vehicular traffic to provide improved access for non -motorized ; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to limit this portion of Shepard Way to non -motorized
use on a temporary basis until such time as the City detenn�nes that the right-of-way is
necessary for motorized vehicle use; now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, DO HERESY LVE:
1. That the city will limit the portion of Shepard Way rights -of- ay between Cosgrove Street
and the driveway to 485 Shepard Way to non -motorized useby placement of signage and
bollards.
2. That this limitation may be repealed by the city at such time as the rights-of-way is
necessary for motorized vehicle use.
