RES 2003-50 MONTHLY UTILITY TENANT CHARGERESOLUTION No. 2003-50
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
REPEALING THE MONTHLY UTILITY TENANT CHARGE, REDUCING THE
CHARGE FOR MULTIPLE BILLS, AND AMENDING SECTION 12.D OF THE
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND FEE SCHEDULE.
WHEREAS, the City by resolution 2001-07 and under the authority of ordinance
92-24 imposed a charge of $5.00 monthly to utility customers when the bill is sent
to someone other than the property owner in order to offset the additional costs of
billing and collection; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the added costs of billing and
collection of accounts billed to someone other than the owner no longer justify
this higher charge; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 12.D of the Bainbridge Island Fee Schedule is amended to read as
follows:
