ORD 81-13 ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTYORDINANCE NO. 81 ~ 13
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF WINSLOW
WHEREAS, a petition has been accepted in the form required
by law to annex certain real property (commonly known as
the Spillinger Property) described in this Ordinance to
the City of Winslow and the Boundary Review Board did not
invoke jurisdiction of said annexation and the City Council
having held a public hearing on said petition.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Winslow do
ordain as follows:
The following described real property located in
Kitsap Councy and contiguous to the City of Winslow
shall be and hereby is annexed to the City of Winslow:
Legal Description
That portion of Lot 5, Yeomalt Point, lying Southerly
of Hillside Road, as per plat recorded in Volune 3 of
Plats, Page 5, records of Kitsap County, situate in
Kitsap County, Washington; also, that part of Yeomalt
Point Drive lying directly south of said Lot 5 described
as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
Northwesterly line of Lot 5 and Yeomalt Point Drive;
thence South 40 feet to the City limits line of the
City of Winslow; thence East 130 feet more or less;
thence North 40 feet; thence to the point of the
beginning.
The property described in paragraph 1 of this Ordinance
shall be zoned and classified as SFR 15,000 pursuant to
the provisions of Ordinance 79-15.
Pursuant to the petition filed by the owners of said
property, the area described in paragraph 1 will be
required to assume any outstanding indebitedness of
the City.
That the City Council has determined that the action by
the City of annexing the property described in paragraph
1 above is not a substantial action significantly affecting
the environment and therefore an environmental impact
statement is not required.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Winslow this 16th day
of March, 1981.
