RES 2002-48 CALENDAR FOR 2004 BUDGETRESOLUTION No. 2002-48
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE CALENDAR FOR THE
PREPARATION OF THE 2004 BUDGET.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2002-11 adopted by the Bainbridge Island City Council on April
24, 2002 calls for the adoption of an "Annual Budget and Planning Calendar" by
February I" of each year, beginning with 2003; and
WHEREAS, Section 1 1 of Ordinance 2002-11 requires the City to provide early warning
of the next year's proposed budget cycle and Resolutions 2002-24 and 2002-40 set the
date by which that preliminary schedule should be published as November 20, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the Finance & Personnel Committee of the City Council met on November
18, 2002 and agreed that the following preliminary budget schedule for preparation of the
2004 Budget was reasonable; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
