ORD 2001-33 WATER RESOURCES ELEMENT
ORDINANCE NO. 2001-33
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, amending Figure 1 of the Water Resources
Element of the City of Bainbridge Island Comprehensive
Plan.
WHEREAS, on June 30, 200 I, Mr. Dick Allen submitted an application for a
comprehensive plan amendment amending Figure 1: Winslow Watcr Service Area Map of
lhe Water Resources Element ofthe City of Bainbridge Island Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, on July 25, 2001, the City Council approved the application for Phase II
processing in accordance with BIMC 18.117; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning and Community Development reviewed and
Convarded its recommendation for approval ofthe application to the Planning Commission
\vhich held a public hearing on September 27,2001; and
WHEREAS. the Planning Commission forwarded a recommendation to the City Council to
approve the request. Now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN, as Collows:
Section I. The City Council finds that the Comprehensive Plan Amendment is in
conformance with the comprehensive plan and all applicable state laws j n effect at the timc
o C approval.
Section 2. Figure 1: Winslow Water Service Area map of the Water Resources Element of
the City of Bainbridge Island Comprehensive Plan is amended to include Tax parcel 4196-
000-014-0000 within thc service area.
Section 3. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to file this ordinance for record with
lhe Kilsap County Auditor, and to file one copy with the recording number with the Kitsap
County Assessor and the applicant.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days from and after its
passage, approval and publication as required by law.
