RESOLUTION NO. 2024-05
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
authorizing the City Manager to reject the bids for City Hall
Renovation and Security Upgrade project and authorizing a rebid.
WHEREAS, the City advertised for the City Hall Renovation and Security Upgrade
project, for which bids were opened on March 19, 2024, and
WHEREAS, one bid was received which significantly exceeded the City’s engineer’s
estimate,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE
ISLAND DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to reject any and all City Hall
Renovation and Security Upgrade project bids.
Section 2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to modify the scope of work
and to readvertise the project.
