RESOLUTION NO. 2006-34
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, resetting a date for a public hearing to
consider vacation of portions of Morrill Place.
WHEREAS, the City Council set a public hearing for the vacation of Morrill
Place on July 26, 2006 by passage of Resolution 2006-32; and
WHEREAS, that Council meeting has been cancelled; and
WHEREAS, a new hearing date needs to be set; Now Therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, DOES HEARBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The public hearing on the vacation of portions of Morrill Place set
by Resolution 2006-32 is cancelled.
Section 2. A public hearing shall be held on the requested vacation of Morrill
Place described on the attached drawings, (Exhibit A), on August 9, 2006 as part of the
regular City Council meeting at the Bainbridge Island Council Chambers located at 280
Madison Avenue N.
Section 3. The Director of Public Works or designee is authorized and
directed to post and mail notices as required by RCW 35.79.020, and to notify the public
of the public hearing at least twenty days prior to the hearing.
Section 4. The petition was approved and meets the sufficiency requirements
per RCW 35.79.010.
