ORD 2004-10 CITY COUNCIL MEETING TIME PLACE AND TIME AMENDMENTORDINANCE NO. 2004-10
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
relating to the day, place and time limit for meetings of the City
Council of the City of Bainbridge Island; amending Bainbridge
Island Municipal Code Sections 2.04.030 and 2.04.040; and repealing
Ordinance No. 2002-41.
The City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Section 2.04.030 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is
amended as follows:
2.04.030 Time.
The time for such City Council meetings shall be 7:00 PM.
Section 2. Section 2.04.040 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is
amended as follows:
2.04.040 Time Limit.
City Council meetings shall continue until 9:00 PM, however, by a majority vote,
the Council may elect to extend the meeting to complete meeting agenda items.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days from and
after its passage, approval and publication as required by law, or April 14, 2004,
whichever occurs first.
