F:ESOLUTION No. 2006-13
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
amending section 12.A, of the Bainbridge Island Fee Schedule to
include administrative processing fees.
WHEREAS, the City has not previously imposed an administrative processing fee to
recover costs associated with processing requests for water and sewer service availability and
requests to modify a water or sewer service area; and
WHEREAS, the City has adopted a more extensive process for reviewing and approving
water and sewer service availability requests and desires to recover those costs; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the imposition of administrative processing
fees at the time of a service availability request will more equitably allocate costs to the
applicant; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A fee for Water and Sewer availability requests is established in Section 12.A.
of the City of Bainbridge Island Fee Schedule as follows:
(4) ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING FEES:
A. WATER AND SEWER AVAILABILITY REQUESTS
(1) INFORMATION $50
(2) SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL USES $50
(3) MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL USES $75
(4) COMMERCIAL USES $100
B. WATER AND SEWER SERVICE AREA MODIFICATION REQUESTS
(1) WATER SERVICE AREA — MINOR MODIFICATION $125
(Comprehensive Plan Water Resources Element WR 3.6)
(2) WATER SERVICE AREA — MAJOR EXPANSION $250
(Comprehensive Plan Water;Resources Element WR 3.6)
(3) SEWER SERVICE AREA — MINOR MODIFICATION $125
(Comprehensive Plan Water Resources Element SSP 2.3)
(4) SEWER SERVICE AREA — MAJOR EXPANSION $250
(Comprehensive Plan Water Resources Element SSP 2.7)
