RES 2005-05 PARKING FEE AMENDMENTSRESOLUTION No. 2005-05
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE CITY"S FEES FOR PARKING, AND AMENDING SECTION 5
OF THE BAINBRIDGE ISLAND FEE SCHEDULE.
WHEREAS, the City has long charged for parking; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that additional revenues are needed
to pay for road maintenance and non -motorized transportation and intends to split
these revenues evenly between the two functions; and
WHEREAS, the City has not changed its non ferry fees for parking since 2001;
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 5 of the Bainbridge Island Fee Schedule is amended to read as
follows:
S. PARKING
BRIEN & BJUNE (Monthly)
(Resolution 2005-05) $90.00 $79 00
BRIEN & BJUNE (Daily) No charge
(Resolution 2005-05. Parking limited to four (4) hours.)
CARPOOL (Bi -Monthly) $180.00 $4690
(Resolution 2005-05. Applicants are required to fill out an application and to abide by the
rules and time limits set by the City)
CIVIC CENTER
(Resolutions 99-42, 2001-31, and 2005-05)
Monthly
Daily (5:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
Nights (7:00 PM to 5:00 AM)
Total for up to 24 hours not to exceed daily rate.
FERRY PARKING
(Resolutions 99-42, 2001-31 and 2004-37)
Total for up to 24 hours not to exceed daily rate.
Daily (5:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
Nights (7:00 PM to 5:00 AM)

Section 2. This resolution is effective on and after February 1, 2005.
