RES 2001-45 SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON SHORELINE DEVELOPMENT PERMITS MORATORIUMRESOLUTION NO. 2001-45 A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, setting a time and place for a public hearing on the moratorium on applications for shoreline substantial development permits, shoreline substantial development exemptions and shoreline conditional use permits. WHEREAS, RCW 35A.63.220 and RCW 36.70A.390 authorize the City to adopt a moratorium on development and to hold a public hearing on the moratorium within 60 days of the commencement of the moratorium; and WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 35A.63.220 and RCW 36.70A.390, on August 22, 2001, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2001-34, imposing a moratorium on the filing of new applications for shoreline substantial development permits, shoreline substantial development exemptions and shoreline conditional use permits; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to set a public hearing on the moratorium imposed in Ordinance No. 2001-34; now, therefore THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. A public hearing on the moratorium imposed on the filing of new applications for shoreline substantial development permits, shoreline substantial development exemptions and shoreline conditional use permits, will be held before the City Council on October 10, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as it may be heard, at City Hall, 280 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island, Washington 98110. Section2. The City Clerk is directed to cause notice of the public hearing to be published in the City's official newspaper at least one week prior to the public hearing date.
