RES 2002-15 SITE VISITS AND CONSULTATION DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTSRESOLUTION No., 2002-45 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND2WASHINGTON, REMOVING THE REQUIREMENT TO COLLECT DEPOSITS FOR SITE VISITS AND CONSULTATIONS AND AMENDING SECTION OF THE BAINBRIDGE ISLAND FEE SCHEDULE. WHEREAS, the City of Bainbridge Island has previously required a deposit for land use site visits or consultations; and REAS the Ci Council has determined that the�equirement to collect such WHE , tY deposits costs the City more in administration time that the value of providing an assurance of payment; now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE IS AND, WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The charges in this g For applications covered b the hourly rate, a deposit equal to twenty hous' charge shall be collected pp Y before the application is accepted for all applications except administrative procedures, boundary line adjustments, conditional use permits, pre -application conferences, SEPA reviews when and E.I.S. is not required, shoreline exemptions, two -lot short -plats and sign variances, in which case a deposit equal to ten hours' charge shall be collected or site visits and consultation in which ca4e no a deposit tel twe kaw= shall be collected. Any unspent amount from such a deposit shall be refunded to the applicant within 60 days from the final action on the application. Amoun�paid as fixed fees shall be treated as deposits against the subsequent rates with the provision that refunds of amounts paid as fixed amount fees shall not be made unless the requested permit is withdrawn by the applicant prior to any significant work being done on it.
