WHEREAS, our organization has approved a comprehensive plan that includes this project area; and WHEREAS, under the provisions of BFP, state funding assistance is requested to aid in financing the cost of planning, land acquisition and/or facility development; and WHEREAS, our organization considers it in the best public interest to complete the planning, land acquisition, and/or development project described in the application; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that: 1. Any fund assistance received be used for implementation of the project referenced above; 3. Total Project amount= $80,000 IAC amount at 75% = $60,000 COBI amount at 25% = $20,000 (to be requested in 2007 budget)* Project: #06-2040 IAC Boating Facility Program, Non -Capital, Planning Grant. The shoreline and facilities need detailed planning, engineering design and detailed cost estimates to implement concepts approved in the master plan including:. • Repair or replace city dock • Expand dock • lncrease dingy tie up • Restore shoreline to improve habitat • Extend waterfront trail • Erosion control • Improve beach access trail modifications, stair renovation, • Preserve public boating and recreation opportunities • Improve ADA access to dock, park and beach *Work items included in the 2006 city budget include Waterfront Park City Dock Inspection and refinement of adopted master plan for more detailed design of approved land and water uses.
