A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND
WASHINGTON SETTING THE CALENDAR FOR THE
PREPARATION OF THE 2009/-010 BUDGET
WHEREAS Ordinance 2002 11 adopted by the Bai ibrid,e Island City Council
on April 24 2002 and as amended by Ordinance 21107 29 affectuig Section 2 S_' of the
Bainbridge Island Municipal Code rills for the adoption of an Annual Budget and
Plamung Calendar by February 1 i of each year beginning with 200; and
WHEREAS the Finance & Personnel Committee of the Crty Council met on
January 15 1_008 and agreed that the folloveung preliminary budget schedule for
preparation of the 2-009,12010 Budget was reasonable now therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND
WASHINGTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
The following events shall compromise the 200912010 Aimual Budget and Planning-

Public Hearin, on Taxes and Re\ enues
Approve Property Tax L evy for Ensuing Year
Final Hearing on the Budget (as defined by RCS' >>A 33 070)
Adoption of Annual Budget
EFFECTIVE DATE This resolution shall take effect unmediatel\ upon
passage
