RES 2005-42 SUMMIT SUBDIVISION FINAL PLATRESOLUTION NO, 2 -42
A. RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, approving the
Summit Subdivision final plat (Case No. FS B 11 io 1).
WHEREAS, -the city council approved the preliminary plat under Resolution 2004705 on
March M, 2004; and
W-HEREAS, the applicant, John Green submitted a final - plat application to the
Department of Planning and Community ev l pment on August 25, 2005; and
WHEAR S, the Kitsap Heath District has given final plat approval with several
conditions and those conditions are noted on the final plat; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer reviewed and forwarded a recommendation of approval. to'.
.
the Department of Planning and Community ev l ment; and
WHEREAS, the -Department of Planning and -C gnu it r Development pment reviewed and
forwarded its recommendation and the recommendations f ether departments for approval to the
City Council; now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL TOIL F THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The subdivision proposed for final plat approval conforms to all terns and
conditions of approval for the preliminary plat.
Section 2. The subdivision proposed for Final plat approval conforms to the zoning
ordinance,, the comprehensive plan, the subdivision regulations and standards, and all applicable
land use ordinances and applicable state lav in effect at.the time the fully completed application
for preliminary plat approval was submitted by the applicant to the Department of Planning and
Community Development.
Section 3. The City Council finds that bands and assurance devices by their essential
terns assure completion ofall required plat improvements.
Section 4. The City Council in its motion of approval for the Summit Subdivision
authorizes an amendment to Condition No. 3, to be consistent -with the . revised engineer's
drainage calculations.
Section 5. The City Council in its motion of approval requested that the applicant
provide clear delineation of the fault line on the final plat map.
Section 6. The City Council upholds the. requirement'. for 3 Jn es. deep gravel.

Section '. The Mayor is authorized and directed to inscribe- and execute the' City
Council's approval on the face of the final plat.
Section 8. The City Clerk is authorized and -directed to file the original of the final.
plat for record with the Kitsap County Auditor and to file one reproducible copy fhe fii alat
(containing the ' Iitap County Auditor' recording number) with -the Citi' Clerk,. the City
Engineer, the Kitap County Assessor and the applicant.
