RES 2002-32 INCLUDING PARTS OF WINSLOW WITHIN KITSAP CONSERVATION DISTRICTRESOLUTION NO, 2002-32
A RESOLUTION of the City of BainbbfidgeIsland, Washington,
petitioning for the inclusion of the corporate limits of Winslow within
the Kitsap Conservation District,
WHEREAS, in March of 1991, the City ofWinslow annexed the remaining areas of
Bainbridge Island; and
WHEREAS, at the time of annexation all areas of Bainbridge Island annexed to the City of
Winslow were also annexed to the Kitsap Conservation District; and
WHEREAS, the Kitsap Conservation District has found that the corporate limits of the City of
Winslow were not included in the Conservation District in 1991; and
WIC REAS, the Kitsap Conservation District has requested that the City of Bainbridge Island
correct this oversight by petitioning for inclusion of this additional territory within the Kitsap Conservation
District;
NOW, "THEREFORE, be It resolved that the City of Winslow, as of 1949, should be
included within the Kitsap Conservation District and that the Mayor is authorized to sign the petition for
inclusion of additional territory attached to this resolution.
