A RESOLUTION of the City Council ofthe City of Bainbridge
Island, Washington, relating to the City's sale and disposal o
surplus City personal property.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of Bainbridge Island to sell rperty .
owned by the City which no longer has beneficial public use and 1s surplus to the City's needs;
and
WHEREAS, the reduction of staff and service's has generated surplus ural r rt
including City -owned and operated vehicles; arra
'REAS, the property listed on Attachment A is surplus to the City's needs; now
therefore
THE CI'T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY of BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The vehicles listed and identified on Attachment aA. are surplus to the City's needs due to
the reduction' of staff and services (the "Surplus Vehicles";
2. The Surplus vehicles shall he old disposed of through one or more of the following
methods;
. Through the Mate of Washington General Administration5s Surplus property
program located in Auburn,Washington;
h. Through lrrternet auction such as eBay; or
C. An inter -local sales agreement with a political sub -division of the State o
Washington.
3. All revenue generated by the disposal or sale of Surplus vehicles shall be rtrurned to the
fund with which it was purchased.
