A. RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City Bainbridge
Island, Washington, fixing a time and place for a 'public hearing t
consider vacating a portion of Point Monroe Drive N.E.
WHEREAS, on May 1, 2009, the City received a road vacation petition to vacate a portion o
Point Monroe Drive N,E.;
WHEREAS 5 Yn accordance with RCW 35.79.010, the Public Worts Department processed the
petition and certified it to be sufficient; noir therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY of BAI1 BRIGL ISLAND.,
WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE ASFOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing shall be held on the requested vacation of a portion o
Point Monroe Drive N,E., described on the attached drawings, on September 23, 2009 at 7:45
p.m. in the Council Chambers of Bainbridge Island City Hall located at 280 Madison Avenue
North, Bainbridge Island, Washington.
Section 2. The Director of Public Works or designee is authorized and directed to
post and nail notices as required by RCW 35.79.020, and to notify the public of the pylic
hearing g at least twenty days prior to the hearing.
Section 3. The petition was approved and meets the sufficiency requirements is set
forth in RCW 35.79.010.
