Marine Bank a the City' public depository; and

Section 1, section 384,010 of the Bainbridge island ll~unicipal Code is he14eby
amended to read a fallors.

,All claims or other obligations of the city which are payable out of solvent funds
sha11 be paid by the issuance of a bank check ar v~arrant; provided, that no check
shill be issued when the applicable fund i not solvent at the time payment is
