RES 2013-04 FEES RELATING BOAT RAMP BOAT TRAILER PARKINGRESOLUTION NO. 2013-04
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington relating
to fees for boat ramp with boat trailer parking and amending Section 13 of
the Bainbridge Island Fee Schedule.
WHEREAS, on March 25, 2009, the City Council passed Resolution No. 2009 -03 that set the
fee for boat ramp with boat trailer parking at $8.00 per day and $80.00 per year for parking in the
designated area along Bjune Drive on weekends; and
WHEREAS, the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District ( "Park District ")
issues annual passes for launching at Fort Ward Park; and
WHEREAS, as a service to the boating community, the City and the Park District have agreed
to honor each other's annual passes; and
WHEREAS, the passes will be sold by both the City and the Park District and will cycle with
the calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the City sold 2012 annual passes with an expiration date of April 2013;
WHEREAS, for 2013 only, the City will sell a discounted pass for $60.00 to holders of a 2012
annual pass, now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS.
Section 1.
The fee for
boat ramp with boat
trailer parking set forth in Section 13 of the
Bainbridge
Island Fee
Schedule is amended
to read as follows:
BOAT RAMP WITH BOAT TRAILER PARKING $8.00 per day; $80.00 per year
FOR HOLDERS OF 2012 ANNUAL BOAT PASSES $60.00 for April to December, 2013
