ORD 2000-15 IDENTIFIES MEETING PLACE FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGSORDINANCE NO. 2000-15
AN ORDINANCE of the city of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, amending Bainbridge Island Municipal
Code Section 2.04.020, which identifies the meeting
Place for City Council meetings.
WHEREAS, construction of the new City Hall has been completed; and
WHEREAS, a new City Council Chambers has been provided by the
construction of the new City Hall; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2.04.020 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal code is
amended as follows:
2.04.020 Place.
Beginning with the April 26, 2000 City Council meeting, the meeting place
for City Council meetings shall be the new City Hall, City Council
Chambers, 280 Madison Avenue N, Bainbridge Island, Washington,
except for emergencies, special meetings and retreats that may be held in
other locations as provided by law.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days from
and after its passage, approval, and publication as required by law.
