RES 2000-04 APPROVAL OF FINAL PLAT OF NORTH TOWN WOODS (SUB01-13-98-1)RESOLUTION NO. 2000-04
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
approving the final plat of North Town Woods (File No_SUB01-13-
98-1).
WHEREAS, by Resolution No, 99-09, adopted on February 18, 1999, the City Council of the
City of Bainbridge Island approved the preliminary plat of North Town Woods, on approximately 27
acres of property located at located on Sportsman Club Road and New Brooklyn Road, upon the
application of Jim Laughlin; and
WHEREAS, on December 23, 1999, Jim Laughlin submitted a final plat to the Department of
Planning and Community Development (File No.FSUB12-23-99-1); and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer reviewed the final plat and forwarded his recommendation for
approval to the Department; and
WHEREAS, the Department reviewed the final plat and forwarded its recommendation for
approval to the City Council; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds that the subdivision proposed for final plat approval
conforms to all terms and conditions of the preliminary plat approval.
Section 2. The City Council finds that the subdivision proposed for final plat approval and the
final plat meet the requirements of Chapter 58.17 RCW, other applicable State laws, BIMC Chapter
17 04, the zoning ordinance and all other applicable ordinances that were in effect at the time of
preliminary plat approval.
Section 3. The Council Chair is authorized and directed to inscribe and execute the City
Council's approval on the face of the final plat.
Section 4. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to file the original of the final plat for
record with the Kitsap County Auditor, and to file one reproducible copy of the final plat (containing
the Kitsap County Auditor's recording number) with the City Clerk, the City Engineer, the Kitsap
County Assessor and the applicant.
