RES 2000-07 APPROVAL OF WINSLOW COVE'S FINAL PLAT (FSUB12-30-99-1)RESOLUTION NO. 2000-07
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, approving the
Winslow's Cove Subdivision final plat (Case No. FSUB12-30-99-1)
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 98-17, adopted on May 18, 1998, the City Council
approved the preliminary plat of Meadow Lark Lane (Winslow's Cove), submitted by Schneider
Homes, Inc. to the Department of Planning and Community Development: and
WHEREAS, on December 30, 1999, the applicants submitted a final plat application to
the Department of Planning and Community Development; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer reviewed the final plat and forwarded a recommendation
of approval to the Department; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning and Community Development reviewed and
forwarded its recommendation and the recommendations of other departments for approval to the
City Council; now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds that the subdivision proposed for final plat approval
conforms to all terms and conditions of approval for the preliminary plat.
Section 2. The City Council finds that the subdivision proposed for final plat approval
meets the requirements of Chapter 58.17 RCW, other applicable State laws, BIMC Chapter
17.04, the zoning ordinance and all other applicable ordinances that were in effect at the time of
preliminary plat approval.
Section 3. The City Council agrees to pay one half of the school impact fee for the two
affordable housing lots in accordance with BIMC 15.28, in the sum of 3,030.00.
Section 4. The Mayor or Council Chair is authorized and directed to inscribe and execute
the City Council's approval on the face of the final plat.
Section 5. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to file the original of the final plat
for record with the Kitsap County Auditor, and to file one reproducible copy of the final plat
(containing the Kitsap County Auditor's recording number) with the City Clerk, the City
Engineer, the Kitsap County Assessor and the applicant.
