RES 2000-30 SPECIAL PLANNING AREA PROCESS FOR ISLAND CENTERRESOLUTION NO. 2000-30
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington
to begin the special planning area process for Island Center.
WHEREAS, Comprehensive Plan land use policy NSC 1.3 designates Island Center as a
special planning area; and
WHEREAS, the City's goals for the year 2000 include initiating the special planning
area process for Island Center; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 18.115 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code requires Council
approval to initiate the special planning area process;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE
ISLAND DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Department of Planning and Community Development shall commence with
the special planning area process for Island Center.
PASSED by the City Council this 13'h day of September 2000.
