RES 2001-05 ISLAND CENTER SPECIAL PLANNING AREA STEERING COMMITTEERESOLUTION NO. 2001-05
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
to appoint the Island Center Special Planning Area Steering Committee.
WHEREAS, Comprehensive Plan land use policy NSC 1.3 designates Island Center as a
special planning area; and
WHEREAS, the City's goals for the year 2001 include the special planning area process
for Island Center; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 18.115 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code requires the
creation of a special planning area steering committee, to be appointed by the Mayor and
confirmed by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE
ISLAND DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Island Center Special Planning Area Steering Committee, composed of the
nine individuals shown in Attachment 1 to this Resolution, shall be appointed to perform the
duties and responsibilities specified in Chapter 18.115 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code.
