YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the City of Bainbridge Island Hearing Examiner will conduct a PUBLIC
HEARING at 9:00 AM, on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 280 Madison
Avenue N, Bainbridge Island, Washington, pursuant to BIMC Section 2.16.100 and Section 2.16.125.

Description of Proposal: Subdivide a 4.7 acre parcel into 27 lots (25 single family, one multi-family and
one park lot) and receive site plan and design review approval for the
development of 25 townhomes, a 115 unit apartment building and a one acre park.
The project is designed as Tier 1 under the Housing Design Demonstration
Project (HDDP) program, and will be considered as a LEED community.

YOU ARE INVITED to attend the hearing and make oral and written comments. The Hearing Examiner has
discretion to limit testimony to relevant, non-repetitive comments and to set time limits. If you are unable to
attend, written comments, photographs or other exhibits on the application may be submitted prior to the
hearing date. All such submissions should state the specific case and be directed to the Hearing Examiner’s
Assistant at City Hall.
The Mitigated Determination of Nonsignificance (MDNS), filed under the State Environmental Policies Act
(SEPA), was issued on December 30, 2016. The appeal period ended on January 13, 2017. No appeal was
filed.
