ORD 2001-28 SMALL WORKS ROSTER PROCEDURESORDINANCE NO. 2001-28 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASItlNGTON, AMENDING PROCEDURES FOR TIlE SMALl, WORKS ROSTER; AND AMENDING SECTIONS 3.72.10{1, 3.72.110 AND 3.72.120 OF THE BAINBRIDGE ISLAND MUNICIPAl, CODE. WIIEREAS. Section 3. Section 3.72 t 20 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is amended to Whenever a public works project with ail estimated cost that is below' the small works ~oster lhreshold authorized by RCW 39.04.155, as now existing or as hereafter amended, ~, done hv contracl and tine city uses the small works roster: l-he director of public works or thc director's designee shall secure telephone, tmon. or electronic quotations from the appropriate contractors on the roster. Quotations ~nav be invited fi'om all contractors on the roster. As an alternative, quotations may be nvilcd fl'om at least five contractors on the roster who have indicated the capability of ~crlb~ ming thc kind of work being contracted, in a manner that will equitably distribute the i~ppormnity among the contractors; provided, that if the estimated cost of the work is from ~nc Nmdrcd thousand dollars to two hundred thousand dollars and the city invites quotations om icss than all tile appropriate contractors on the srna/1 works roster, the city shall notify !~c ~-cmaming appropriate contractors that quotations on the work are being sought.
