\N ORDINANCE OF 'File CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
~VASHINGTON, AMENDING PROCEDURES FOR THE
RIGHT-OF-WAY MAINTENANCE AND AMENDING
SECTIONS 12.38.021) and 12.38.030 OF THE BAINBRIDGE
ISLAND MUNICIPAL CODE.
XVHEREAS, the City has approximately cievcn miles of unpaved or gravel roads to
WHEREAS, thc City has established a policy for maintenance of gravel roads; and
WHERE.kS, BIMC 12.38. Right q[~/'20' Maintetmnce, requires modification to provide
<,~ns~-tcncy xxith the City policy on maintenance of gravel roads; and now, therefore,

.%_ection I. Section 12.38.020, Existing Public Right-of-Way, is hereby amendment
as follows:

\. Paved Roads. The city will maintain all paved roads in accordance with city
~iot ~dures and within budgetary constraints.
B. I npaved Roads. Thc city will perform minimum maintenance on unpaved roads in

Section 2. Section 12.38.030, Upgrading lbtpaved Roads, is hereby amended as
