ORD 2004-01 AMENDING SSWM UTILITY BIMC 13.24 ORDINANCE NO. 2004-01
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, relating
to the City's storm and surface water management utility; amending
Section 13.24.081 to the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, Chapter 35.67 RCW provides that cities are authorized to establish
storm and surface water ("storm sewer") utilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Ba'mbridge Island has had a Storm and Surface Water
Management (formerly called "Storm Drain") utility since 1987; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to clarify the storm sewer rates for property
containing residential condominium units; now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 13.24.081 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is hereby
amended as follows:
13.24.081 Condominium unit fees.
service fee for each condominium unit shall be the rote charged for single
family dwellings under BIMC 13.24.070.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days from and after
its passage, approval, and publication.
