RES 2001-09 SEWER SERVICE AREA BOUNDARY MODIFICATIONSRESOLUTION NO. 2001-09
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, regarding modification of the existing sewer
service area boundary to include those lots divided by the
current boundary.
WHEREAS, the city maintains an existing and future sewer service area boundary as
defined in the comprehensive plan; and
WHEREAS, promulgation of Ordinance 498-11 which modified the existing and future
service areas crated lots which were divided by the existing sewer service area boundary and not
entirely within either the existing or future sewer service areas; and
WHEREAS, having lots split by the existing sewer service area boundary causes
confusion as to their status in receiving sewer service from the city, and;
WHEREAS, to provide a fair and equitable solution to the determination of sewer
service for those lots divided by the existing sewer service area boundary, and inclusion of
subject lots within the existing service area is appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE
ISLAND DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Existing lots which are divided by the existing sewer service area boundary
are to be included within the existing service area boundary.
Section 2. The attached map shows the modification of the existing sewer service area
boundary to include the divided lots.
