RES 2001-31 FEES FOR DAILY PARKING AND AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULERESOLUTION No. 2001-31
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON CHANGING THE FEES FOR DAILY
PARKING, AND AMENDING SECTION 5 OF THE
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND FEE SCHEDULE.
WHEREAS, Washington statute provides that public sector serviced providers
should not compete with the private sector on the basis of price; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has not amended its parking fees since
1999, thereby lagging the fees charged by surrounding parking facilities; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 5 of the Bainbridge Island Fee Schedule is amended to read as
follows:
BRIEN & BJUNE (Monthly) $70.00
(Resolution 99-42 )
BRIEN & BJLINE (Daily) No charge
(Resolution 95-28. Parking limited to four (4) hours.)
CARPOOL (Bi -Monthly) $160.00
(Resolution 99-23. Applicants are required to fill out an application and to abide by the
rules and time limits set by the City)
CIVIC CENTER
(Resolutions 99-42 and 2000-33)
Monthly
$80.00
Daily (5:00 AM to 7:00 PM) $6.50
Nights (7:00 PM to 5:00 AM) $3.00
Total for up to 24 hours not to exceed daily rate
FERRY PARKING
(Resolutions 99-42 and 2000-33)
Total for up to 24 hours not to exceed daily rate.
Daily (5:00 AM to 7:00 PM) $7.25 $630
Nights (7:00 PM to 5:00 AM) $4.00
Section 2. This resolution shall be effective on and after June 1, 2001.
