RES 2001-41 TIFFANY MEADOWS SUBDIVISION (SUBA11261)RESOLUTION NO. 2001 -41 A RF,SOLU"PION of the City of Bainbridge island, Washington, approving a final plat amendment for Tiffany Meadows Subdivision (SUBA11261) A'HEREAS, BIMC Chapter 18.90 requires that affordable dwellings created pursuant to e -o imcments of that chapter remain affordable housing for a period of 30 years from the omni,,nccment date; and WHEREAS, by Ordinance 99-36, passed on November 23, 1999, the City Council nncndc�d Housing Element Policy H 4.7 of the Comprehensive Plan to replace the 30 -year onrn nvnership affordability requirement with an alternative mechanism; and A IIERE.AS, the City Council passed Resolution 99-39 on December 22, 1999, adopting �arrin. <Idministrative regulations for implementing Ordinance 99-36; and A FIER E AS, several developers and owners of -lots planned for the construction of �tor-. hlc housing units or prepared land use applications for submittal to the City based on the dop cel interim administrative regulations; and WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 2000-40 on November 29, 2000, to 1;1uw developers and owners who submitted completed land use applications by September _i tio to utilize the alternative mechanism provided by Ordinance 99-36 if they so choose; ITid WHEREAS, utilizing the alternative mechanism requires an alteration of subdivision nur:u.uu to RCW 58.1,: and HERF.AS, in response to Ordinance 2000-40, the owner of Tiffany Meadows 'All( , „ion submitted a final plat amendment application to the Department of Planning and ,wr unity Development; and 'A Ht.RF.AS, the Department of Planning and Community Development reviewed and ,)m.rdcd its recommendation for approval to the City Council; now therefore, AHF CI fY ('Of NCIL OF THE CITY OF BATNBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, -2ISOLVF AS FOLLOWS: -,cction 1.
