A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Bainbridge Island, Washington, expressing grief and
wishing for peace on earth.
WHEREAS, the events of September 11, 2001 were unimaginable and
horrific, resulting in catastrophic loss of life and posing an enormous challenge to
our nation; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, expresses its grief and sympathy for the victims and their family and
friends, and its wish for peace on earth and goodwill to all man.
PASSED by the City Council this 12th day of September 2001.
