RES 2002-18 SURPLUS PROPERTY SALE & DISPOSALRESOLUTION NO. 2002-18
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, relating
the City's sale and disposal of surplus City personal property.
WHEREAS, the acquisition of a replacement street sweeper was authorized in the 2001 Public Woi
budget, and
WHEREAS, the purchase agreement for the replacement street sweeper authorizes a $15,000 dole
trade-in credit in exchange for receiving the city's 1991 Athey M -9A street sweeper (VE
1A9C23DR8LR059142);
WHEREAS, the acquisition of said replacement vehicle has been accomplished, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Bainbridge Island City Council that it is in the best interests of the citizens
Bainbridge Island to accept the $15,000 trade-in credit as fair market value for the street sweeper identif
herein and release all city interest in said equipment.
PASSED by the City Council this 10th day of July 2002.
