A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON REVISING THE CALENDAR FOR THE
PREPARATION OF THE 2003 BUDGET.
WHEREAS Ordinance 2002-11 adopted by the Bainbridge sland City Council on April
24, 2002 calls for the adoption of an "Annual Budget and Plajnning Calendar" by
February 1 S` of each year, beginning with 2003; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 2002-06 adopted a schedule for the preparation and adoption of
the budget for the year 2003; and
WHEREAS several events have occurred since Resolution 002-06 was adopted, among
them the desire to hold a memorial for the tragic events of 1 l t September 11., which
events require adjustments to the schedule previously adopted ; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE I$LAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
