RES 2003-34 AMENDING 2004 BUDGET CALENDARRESOLUTION No. 2003-34
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE CALENDAR FOR THE
PREPARATION OF THE 2004 BUDGET.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2002-11 adopted by the Bainbridge Island City Council on April
24, 2002 calls for the adoption of an "Annual Budget and Planning Calendar" by
February 1St of each year, beginning with 2003; and
WHEREAS, Section 11 of Ordinance 2002-11 requires the City to provide early warning
of the next year's proposed budget cycle and Resolutions 2002-24 and 2002-40 set the
date by which that preliminary schedule should be published as November 20, 2002; and
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2002 the City Council approved Resolution 2002-48
adopting a preliminary budget schedule for the 2004 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council met on June 11 and June 24, 2003 and determined that an
amended budget schedule for preparation of the 2004 Budget better suited the City's
needs; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
