RES 2004-03 KNECHTEL WATER TANKRESOLUTION NO. 2004-03
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, relating to the City's disposal of surplus for the Knechtel
Water Tank.
WHEREAS, The Grey & Osborne 2003 draft water study recommends the removal of the
Knechtel water tank (located at Knechtel Way/Ericksen) as part of the City of Bainbridge Island's water
distribution system; and
WHEREAS, The tank has been drained and out of service since May of 2003 and surplus
to the City's needs, and, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND
WASHINGTON, as follows:
1. The Knechtel tank is surplus to the City's needs, and
2. The Public Works Department is authorized to seek methods to remove and dispose
of the tank.
