RES 2002-09 COUNCILMEMBER NAME CHANGERESOLUTION NO. 2002-09
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
notifying the citizens of Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap County
Auditor of the recent decision made by Councilmember Christine
Nasser to change her name from Christine Margaret Nasser to
Christine Nasser Rolfes.
WHEREAS, Christine Margaret Nasser was elected in the November,
1999,g eneral election to serve a term from 2000 to 2003 as a City Councilmember
for the 6thward of the City of Bainbridge Island; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Nasser's maiden name was Christine
Margaret Nasser; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Nasser has been hakppily married to Leonard
Rolfes for 10ears and during the course of Councilmember Nasser's term their

family as hown and now includes two young daughters Elizabeth Rolfes and

Catherine Rolfes; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Councilmember Nassenthat her family have
one common name; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that Councilmember 'Christine Margaret Nasser has
changed her name to Christine Nasser Rolfes.
